Uganda Stove Manufacturers Limited (UGASTOVE) is a pioneering Ugandan company based in Kampala that manufactures and distributes energy-efficient, improved cookstoves.

Their mission is to improve the social and economic conditions of the urban poor while fighting deforestation and the health issues caused by indoor air pollution.

Because UGASTOVE stoves directly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the company earns carbon credits. The company uses the revenue from selling these credits to subsidize the retail price of the stoves, mechanize their production lines, and fund community social responsibility programs.
